David Rotor
David has been active in logistics, procurement, and outsourcing since
1988. He
has diverse experience having supported global manufacturers, banks,
and
retailers, private equity funds and sponsored companies, a North
American
railway, and the Canadian government.
David created the Procurement BPO business unit at FacilityPro and at Geller Services, and served as Vice President Global Procurement for PricewaterhouseCoopers' BPO unit at Nortel Networks with responsibility for more than $5 billion of Nortel's expenditures. As a founder of SupplyMountain.com Ltd., and while with the Mitchell Madison Group, he managed a 90 million square foot integrated facilities outsourcing project for Federated Department Stores and a top 10 US bank strategic sourcing project.
Recently he led procurement transformation for the Canadian government, securing approval for a complete e-procurement installation for 225,000 employees, and defining the strategy to save the government nearly $1B in annual savings. His other experiences include serving as Director of Supply Management at Canadian National Railways and serving as an Air Force Logistics Supply Officer in the Canadian Forces.
